Funds willing to "hire" searchers in Europe

Hello everyone

I have heard of some funds who "hire" searchers in Europe, to select a target and to acquire it with cash 100% coming from the same fund.

Basically this means a Searcher does not need to reach out to and convince a number of investors, because the Searcher is always and only dealing with the same fund.

Do they actually respond? I registered in their platform and I even reached out to the CEO personally on Linkedin but no reply yet. Are they actively investing?

Novastone have been quite active here. The profile of searchers they take on are more experienced, and the process isn't as streamlined. The Searcher still has to convince investors, who they will meet at meetings arranged by Novastone. There is an extensive process involved as I've heard.
