I’m currently exploring the self-funded search path and would love to hear from those who’ve been through it! As I dive in, I’m eager to learn about what’s worked (or not) for others in the early stages.

First Steps: What foundational steps were most impactful in the beginning? Resources and Tools: Any books, courses, or online tools that helped you develop your search and investment skills? Networking and Finding Deals: What strategies helped you connect with sellers and brokers, especially without a big budget? Challenges: What were some unexpected hurdles you encountered, and how did you overcome them? Advice for Staying Disciplined: Tips on staying focused and efficient during the search?
