Great takeaways from the 6th International Search Fund Investors Summit at IESE

Last week’s event brought together a highly engaged group of investors to dive deep into the Search Fund ecosystem. Particularly this year we focused on post-acquisition value creation and the lessons learned from deals that didn’t go as planned. Equally valuable were the one-on-one meetings, which allowed for thoughtful exchanges around current investments, market sentiment, and the chance to reconnect with co-investors and peers from across the world. The evening before, we had the chance to share an insightful dinner with the CEOs leading the acquired companies—an experience that never disappoints. Hearing firsthand how they’re driving growth, overcoming challenges, and creating value was a powerful reminder that their leadership is the cornerstone of this model. Thanks to IESE Business School for hosting, Jan Simon, Juergen Rilling and everyone involved for making this Investor Summit both insightful and highly valuable.
