We are growing rapidly past our legacy QuickBooks accounting system. Would love to get some wisdom from the crowd on where to go next. For background, we are a SaaS company in the RegTech space, and we are growing quickly (not crazy fast like some of you maniacs, but double digits). We use automations in and out of QB w/ our current Azure-based software platform during onboarding and billing. Been frustrated by the lack of speed, freezing up, and lack of good SaaS management tools and merchant services in QBs.

Thank you!

Generally for SaaS companies I see Quickbooks online (different than Quickbooks desktop) or Netsuite when above say $10M+ ARR. Often folks use another SaaS financial tool in addition/integrated on top for revenue recognition and reporting - SaaS Optics is #1 player in this space.

I recommend Xero as a step up from QB for certain industries. If you have reg reqs, then make sure your next platform has capability of third-party audit via simple access.
