As part of my business acquisition, a small% of my profits come from an Amazon store. However, Amazon has said: Amazon’s policy is explicit on this matter: “If the ownership of a business changes for any reason, the new owner must establish a new seller account” So I opened a new seller account. Then they tell me: Kindly, be informed that Amazon’s policy is firm: product listings, ASINs, and reviews cannot be transferred between seller accounts, even in legitimate business acquisition scenarios like yours. Then, what the hell is the point of buying the Amazon business? If anyone has bought an Amazon business, I would love to understand how you handled it.

I have not bought an amazon business, but I sell goods on the amazon marketplace as a third party seller with amazon fulfilling my orders. If you're buying an B2C amazon merchant like me, you want to think about keeping the existing 'storefront'. something to think about when transferring to a new seller account. You don't want to lose all the brand equity.
