Has anyone had experience talking to SBICs? (it doesn't qualify for SBA)

Hi all - I have a deal that doesn't qualify for SBA and I need to reach out to SBICs. I have a good list of them, but I was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to talk to some of them that might be more amenable to deals in the 10M EV range

Thank you! .

^redacted‌ thanks for the tag. There are hundreds of SBICs and other non-SBA private lenders that could provide financing for a $10m EV deal. We have over a hundred of them on our CapFlow platform, and they all have their own criteria in terms of deal size, industry, sponsor profile, etc. In order to provide a real assessment we'd need more info on the deal, so feel free to email me details or to set a call to discuss further: redacted

Here is a list of all the SBICs https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/investment-capital/sbic-directory. Many of these funds are closed and no longer making new investments. As Hiram mentioned the investment targets of the SBICs are varied and you will have to look for one that fits your target acquisition. Expect an equity kicker or co-investment.
