We recently made a tool which helps us with this. it work in a way that it scrapes companies based on niche and location, gets all the information (services, customer profile, linkedin and other socials, founding date, revenue, employee count and decision makers/executives. Additionally you can pass it several criteria you are looking for in a company or describe what your looking for and give it amount of points per criteria based on the importance you give it.
Now AI is going to give those points for each company and the result is a ranked list of companies which best suit your target company, with email, phone and linkedin decision makers (if available online).
Were now in the 3rd testing week but very useful to target promising companies you want to spend more time on for example give them a phone call instead of just email etc.

Ultimately the issue with target data sourcing with AI is the publicly available information. It's all over the place, and most AI systems will (typically) rely on one or a few of the usual data sources we all already know of and could use ourselves. Which isn't all that useful because many of those platforms get their data from similar sources which which can be outdated or outright have contradictory information on the same business.
In my opinion the next frontier for AI, to be truly useful to buyers, is not finding target information but enriching that information by consolidating many multiple data sources for specific targets into a single system for better verification.
