Looking for any commentary from those that have outsourced proprietary deal flow generation to a third party (e.g., Bainbridge, Captarget). I'm a solo searcher with a geographic constrained search and recently learned about companies that do this (mostly used by middle market PE firms). From my understanding, these companies will handle sourcing and outreach, and set up meetings with owners that are willing to take them. Curious if anyone has any success / caution stories to share, and/or any recommended companies they've worked with.

I did it myself and drummed up deals. Ultimately found the one I closed. This podcast goes into that and I can show you how to do it if you're interested. Give it a listen then send me a DM. https://acquiringminds.co/articles/patrick-dichter-appletree-business-services

I would recommend BizNexus, X5 Deals, Captarget, and Curators. They're all slightly different - serving different markets, price points, offerings, etc. I suggest jumping on a call with them and learning more. If you want a warm intro to each, ping me and I'm happy to make one.
