Has anyone tried FB / Google advertising for deal flow?

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone here tried advertising on either of the FB or Google platforms to generate leads for your search. What's worked well for you? And how do you make sure your ads don't get restricted by the platforms?

Looking for someone I can speak to understand the landscape. (p/s: I am proficient in running ads, just wanted to learn specifically about using it for search).
