I have a buddy who works in the Silicon Valley recommend Affinity CRM as he uses it to get warm introductions both personally and professionally. From what I have read it uses your LinkedIn network and "connects the nodes" in order to target potential prospects. It is expensive at $1500 a year but potentially could be useful if potential business owners/brokers have a LinkedIn. Does anyone have any experience using it in the SearchFund community?

Disclaimer: I have tried and will probably go with Hubspot, Pipedrive, or Copper, but I was more curious than anything if searchers have used the tool in a current or former life.

We looked into using it pretty seriously but decided to pass because it lacked integration ability with a lot of other key tools we wanted to use (i.e., reply.io, some databases, etc.). The UI is really nice, and I think it's good for venture given it's integration with crunchbase, but we felt it wasn't worth the cost for what we wanted. We also figured that post search (during operating phase), we would likely use one of the more traditional sales-focused CRMs, so we wanted to use that as negotiating power, as well as get comfortable with the tool during the search phase. We're using Hubspot and it's serving its purpose :)

Also, I may be old school but I use Outlook and it didn't have an outlook plugin for adding/modifying contacts within my inbox. It does have one for gmail though.
