I'm currently demo'ing the product and find it very useful for targeted searches. Depending on your search preference (broad and generalist approach using brokers vs targeted, industry specific cold outreach), Cyndx would be a valuable tool. I believe they're trying to identify the right pricing band for searchers, but they're certainly open to the idea of reducing contract length to 3 months, down from a year (typical contract). This could be attractive to anyone who has identified an acquisition and wants to limit overhead beyond the product's use. I've almost exclusively used Cyndx's finder tool. You enter the name of a company or industry and the algorithm returns 500 other companies ranked by similarity. You can further filter these down by region, size, financials, etc. They also provide a contact list of key people within each Company's profile page. If you're working on a roll-up strategy or have a targeted industry and just want to find companies within the field, I recommend exploring Cyndx as a tool. It could be cost and time efficient.

I am working through a demo this week and echo Brian's comments. Cyndx seems committed to making changes going forward to serve the search community better both in their fee/commitment structure as well as the data they provide. They do not provide any conference information at this time (like SourceScrub does), but they are affordable and professional. The walkthrough I had today was helpful, and I encourage others to reach out as this seems like an excellent finder tool.
