Has anyone used Inven for deal sourcing? Been going back and fourth on the cost. It looks like a good tool and shortcuts a lot of the leg work but I'm not sure the cost is justified yet.

^redacted‌ Thanks for looping me in. I used Inven last fall under a trail basis. Overall a very useful company search platform. It is a bit expensive if you are a solo searcher but less expensive than some of the better known company search tools. I did recently revisit the site and have noted that the functionality has grown and the search results are now even more accurate. Also, check out PE Marketplace. They list current deals, but they also have an AI search tool called Cerco, which I find to be quite good.

I used Inven and I stopped due to there was a bait and switch. I was excited about being able to search for prospects as well as find buyers such as PE, FO, strategic buyers. One day it just stopped letting me find buyers and said I need to pay for an additional subscription and it was going to be the same as the current subscription. No thanks.
