Have a problem related to technology or people?

Hi, I'm Casey.

I've been a lurker here for quite some time but haven't yet posted, so I decided this morning to change that by offering to discuss or give feedback on any problems where I might have experience as a way to get to know the community here.
I have been in the tech industry since ~2010 and have worked at a variety of tech companies as I progressed in my career from Jr. to Sr. Software Engineer to and then on to hiring, managing, and retaining teams who are solving sometimes tough technical problems.
Most recently, I've worked both as an engineering manager, and as a fractional CTO.

If you'd like to discuss any particular challenges you're facing, I'm happy to share advice via DM or (preferably) in a thread so others could share in the discussion.

I'm happy to discuss any topic, of course, but I'm most qualified to discuss:
- technical challenges at your organization
- tactical advice for building and scaling software teams
- advice on hiring, training, or retaining gifted talent in your organization
