Working with a brilliant innovator who has several different inventions in the Automotive space. Would like to spin off one or more of these to the right person who can build and rapidly scale a company around them. These are hardware / component solutions that yield significant step-function improvements in efficiency and performance. For example, new transmission design that significantly improves efficiency and performance while reducing weight.
Not for the faint of heart. Will require a good technical understanding of how this works and then a Search Fund type persistence and resilience to raise funding, build a team and get the product to market. Automotive background & passion is essential.

Also, you might consider contacting the Harvard iLab (innovation lab). They have postings from across all the schools at the University (HBSE, college, HBS, HKS, HMS, etc.), so you just might find the right person there who is hoping to start a business, but needs the tech. Best of luck!!

I'd also contact the entrepreneurship clubs at HBS, MIT, GSB, etc.
HBS recently started it's engineering MS/MBA, so there might be some interested folks there, but I'm sure that MIT/GSB are way ahead in that regard.
