Thomas, I used to buy all the fancy headsets (Jabra, Plantronics, Etc) but there isn't much that beats Airpods these days. I use them for sales calls and they work well.

If you want a classic headset, I would go with the Plantronics plugin C-720. Has bluetooth so you can connect it to your cell phone, but is wired to your computer. Nothing fancy, but works well and is affordable.
