Hi all,

Has anyone been part of Helen Guo's SMB Deal Hunter program and have any feedback if recommends or not?

It's a $12k upfront investment, no success fee and her team helps finding off-market and brokered deals based on your search criteria and also provide consulting services along the acquisition process.

Thanks!

That's a big investment, and would suggest for you to consider other options. What are there guarantees regarding deals provided? What is the minimum number of quality leads they are providing? What defines a quality lead? How long of a period of time will they be providing you leads? Is this the only option they offer? There are less expensive lead gen companies for this service, but it is all over the board regarding results. I have tried several at a lower cost who market themselves similarly to the Deal Hunter Program you reference, but the best I worked with was from someone from Upwork. I've worked with them on several campaigns. You might consider learning different methods to generate deal flow on your own, whether it be on market or off market. If you are open to calling business owners in your industry of choice, spend a little time learning about their company and call them up directly. Look at it as just a conversation. You'll get better at this with practice.
There are many threads here on Searchfunder of different deal flow methods, so do some research and figure out which is best for you.

I get emails from Helen almost daily, after 4 or 5 deals you've completed on your own her service could be useful for some low hanging fruit deals she can bring to the table. "Axial" service is free if you or someone on your team is an accredited investors. They only get a fee if the deal is successful.
