Help me design an operations summer internship; in person, northern virginia

Input requested: I'm considering structuring a summer internship to provide hands-on operating experience in a home services business. This role would touch all aspects of the business from the strategy to sales cycle to project installation. I envision it as a way for the intern to gain operational chops and test their own mettle before buying in this space. Open to this being a paid role.
