About 1,200 operators have come through our program, and several hundred are searching for a company to acquire at any given time. We back them with capital, too. Our $20M fund invests directly in members’ deals, and our Entrepreneur-in-Residence program commits capital to strong buyers before they’ve found a business. We’re now connecting our buyers directly with owners of profitable, off-market businesses, and we’re hiring a full-time Deal Associate (remote, US) to help lead that work. What you’ll do: You’ll be the first person a business owner talks to, and the person who gets their company in front of the right buyers. Most of the job is working with owners. - Respond to owners who reply to our outreach and book first calls - Run those calls and read the owner’s financials - Decide whether each business is a fit, not a fit, or not ready yet - For qualified businesses, get the owner signed, collect documents, and build the blinded teaser and data room On the buyer side: - Match each business against our buyers’ acquisition criteria - Send teasers, manage NDAs, and make introductions - Call buyers directly to maintain interest When you have the bandwidth, you’ll go find deals yourself, and you’ll propose and test better ways to source, qualify, and match.
