We are seeking a highly skilled M&A Analyst to join our acquisitions team. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating investment opportunities, building financial models, supporting due diligence, and running end-to-end deal processes. This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to the CEO, institutional investors, and portfolio company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Build detailed 3-statement financial models, operating models, and LBO structures for acquisition targets
Conduct financial and operational due diligence, including data room review, management Q&A, and red flag reports
Perform market, industry, and competitor research to support investment theses
Prepare investment memos, CIM summaries, and board presentations
Interface with lenders, lawyers, sellers, brokers, and advisors to coordinate deal execution
Track and manage timelines, closing checklists, and critical path items for multiple live deals
Support post-close integration planning and handoff to operations team
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or M&A advisory
Demonstrated deal execution experience from initial evaluation through closing
Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of GAAP, working capital, debt structures, and purchase accounting
Excellent communication skills — able to write professional investment memos and present to C-level leaders
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active deals in parallel
Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments
