Hiring M&A Deal Sourcing Interns

We are seeking interns to join our M&A deal sourcing team. This is a hands-on opportunity centered around uncovering off and on-market acquisition opportunities, analyzing financial data, and engaging directly with business owners, brokers and investment banks. Key Responsibilities: • Identify potential acquisition targets through databases, outbound prospecting tools, and tailored workflows • Perform basic financial assessments including profit & loss reviews, add-backs, and margin analysis • Research market trends and specific industry segments • Support outreach efforts and participate in initial discussions with business owners • Collaborate closely with the deal team on ongoing projects Candidate Requirements: • Excellent research capabilities and strong communication skills • Foundational knowledge of financial statements • Self-motivated, well-organized, and comfortable with remote work • Genuine interest in M&A, private equity, or acquiring small businesses What You’ll Learn: • Insight into off-market deal sourcing techniques alongside experienced searchers • Practical experience analyzing financials of small companies • Exposure to tools and systems used by active investors and acquirers • Direct guidance and mentorship from deal professionals closing transactions Looking forward to connecting with motivated candidates!
