HoldCo Controller or Senior Accountant

Industrial Succession is focused on rolling up sub-$10m revenue industrial companies in Southern California. Currently, we are rolling up the ~2,000 metal fabricators in the area. We own 3 now and our HoldCo is growing at hyper speed! We are looking for a Controller or Senior Accountant who has the entrepreneurial spirit, wants to have equity ownership in a vehicle that will grow to $100m+ by###-###-#### without having to personally guarantee any debt), wants direct mentorship and is excited to keep manufacturing in America! You will leverage our built out tech stack to help run tight finance and accounting (mostly) operations. The ideal candidate will: -Manage AR and AP for our operating companies -Be savvy with tech tools (if you don't already know it, we will teach Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, etc.) -Help with budgeting of portfolio companies as needed -Need to have a strong understanding of GAAP accounting -Help with proof of cash for acquisition targets -Month end closes -Lead Review process -Managing Purchaser -Must be able to manage our Finance/Accounting Associate -Must have a high sense of urgency -Must be very detail oriented -Be a A players only -Ideally (not required) have an MS or MBA with Accounting undergrad and some interest in finance or BS in Accounting with strong internship experience -Will report direct to our CFO (former Deloitte partner of 34 years and our Director of Finance who has run our finance since HoldCo inception) -Candidate MUST live somewhere between Los Angeles and San Diego (ideally near the companies in Anaheim) and be ready to work 60 Hrs+ per week. MS/MBA is a plus but not required.
