How are you using Pipedrive to track deal flow and funding?

I'm looking at Pipedrive to track deal flow, but I'm curious how others are also using it to track funding specific to deals that are under contract?

I just started using Pipedrive to track my outreach and connections with other searchers, investors, service providers etc. I am by no means an expert, but I've used the pipeline feature to setup multiple funnels based on the type of goal that I want to accomplish. For example, the "lawyer" funnel has each law firm I am talking to as a deal and has steps like 1) Outreach, 2) Initial Diligence, 3) Reference Check, etc. It's a pretty good tool!

Any reason in particular why you want to use Pipedrive? It's good but a lot like all other CRMs (Hubspot for example).
