How did you use your MBA years learning about search funds?

I am about to be a GSB student and after a few years in private equity, realized that I want to be on the operations side of things as I want to help BUILD and GROW a business.

How did you decide that search fund was the right path for you versus joining a company in an operations / c-suite role? What process did you go through during your MBA years?

I really hope I get insight into what I want to do after business school!
