How do you deal with various challenges at your manufacturing company?
Talked to a manufacturing operator recently and he mentioned a couple of areas he is involved in and where there's a lot of admin work that takes up a lot of his time and attention. Specifically he mentioned these ones: Quality management and our ISO 9001 system. Accounts and Payroll. Sales, quotations and customer communication. Marketing and business development Purchasing and supplier management Production planning Formulation and technical development to the best of my ability. Maintenance and operational problem solving Supporting production directly, particularly during difficult processing runs. Wanted to know if people here in manufacturing also relate to this and also deal with a lot of admin work in these areas? What other things do you find challenging in your day to day ops at your manufacturing company?
