How is USA's SBA finance better than Canada's CSBFP?

In what way is the The Canada Small Business Financing Program (CSBFP) similar to SBA financing in the US, and it what way can it never be as good as SBA?


I know people said they share some similarities but the devil is in the details of course

Both SBA and CSBFP loans are government-backed and used for similar purposes. SBA Advantages Over CSBFP: Higher Loan Limits: SBA loans go up to $5M+, while CSBFP caps at CAD $1M. More Flexibility: SBA offers more loan types and longer repayment terms. Working Capital: SBA loans can be used for working capital; CSBFP cannot.
SBA financing generally provides more funding options and flexibility than CSBFP.
