I am wondering how long amortization schedules generally are for Non SBA loans? I have a business that I am looking at and I think a 5 year schedule may be tight as I will end up at around 1.6 debt service. If I was to able to find a 7 year schedule it would be a good opportunity. What is a market amortization schedule for a Non SBA loan with a###-###-#### % deposit?

Thank you.

It varies. You can get loans with 5, 7, 10, and sometimes even 20 year amortization periods. They all come with different terms. Best bet is to talk with a loan broker who can explain some of these difference. ^redacted‌ and/or his team are good folks to know for this.

Jeff, thank you for the comment. Typically non-bank amortizations are going to be 5 to 7 years max. If there is real estate involved, that portion of it can be on an amortization up to 25 years. Happy to have a discussion about your specific situation at any time. I can be reached at redacted Thank you.
