How much weight do you give to tech stack and AI readiness in marketing agencies?

For those of you who’ve evaluated or acquired businesses in the advertising or marketing space, how much does AI adoption/readiness (or lack thereof) influence your interest? I’m curious what other searchers consider red flags or opportunities in this industry.

marketing agencies - if you don't know about AI and it's use in marketing... thing twice before buying. But #1 concern = customer relationships, how transferrable they are, and whether you will be able to win it - remember there's always someone from a competitor that is second on the line for that relationship, and you got to beat that.

Like many industries, there's a great deal of disruption in this sector. Agencies that are likely to struggle moving ahead likely include agencies that focus on Cold Outreach, graphic design, and traditional SEO.
