How to get started - Searcher in Italian market

Hi SF community!

I am an aspiring searcher that would like to start a self-funded search process remotely.

I am currently employed full-time in Dubai, and I am thus looking for a search-partner based in Italy to conduct the search on the ground.
Interested to learn about:

-best way to get started

-main websites to source companies in the italian market

-prior experiences in conducting a search process in Italy

I would speak to other searchers to get a sense of how feasible your plan is. From what I understand, personally I think you will struggle unless you plan on being in Italy very often. You need to go and visit the companies in Italy and I would advise you visit many to get a sense for what you are buying. As far as websites in Italy I am not aware of any, but in any case I would suggest you speak to advisers (commercialisti, lawyers, etc.) for SMEs - they are the ones that will have the leads.
