I run a business of thermal insulation for industrial and commercial refrigeration. We were used to exporting from Europe direct into many developing countries and supply dealers and contractors. We had noticed that dealers were quite profitable, and we decided to acquire one as a pilot. Now we would like to scale it and add a specialized e-store. I was just wondering which requirements we should meet to make it interesting for external investors.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for your time.
As geography, we are really strong in Central America (we have a point of sales in Costa Rica), quite strong in Mexico and in Jamaica. We have presence in Africa as well, in Zambia and Nigeria. Building presence in Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia.
As target demographic, 30-50 y.o., usually installers or technicians, often designers.
As for model, I support the creation of point of sales with a warehouse (our goods are very bulky) to supply small-medium size projects, but I have not a clear idea of to connect it with an ecommerce.
Covid, actually demand of refrigeration has increased for supermarkets, food cold-chains and, sadly, for temporary hospitals and morgues. The outlook is interesting.

Overall, the biggest driver is first-mile food waste prevention, which is starting to attract the attention of public opinion.

You pose a great question - not really understanding the industry all that well, though my boiler Company experience has me a bit knowledgeable, A few questions.

First thing; what geography have you identified? What is your target demographic? B2C? B2B? What is a model you’re looking at that is in existence? Are you concerned of market forces changing due to covid?
