I am looking raise $500k to $700k for a potential purchase.  I want to start shopping this deal to investors.  Is there a specific format investors prefer to see a term sheet?

Thank you for your help.

In my experience you would show them your deck, the valuation you have for the business including deal fees etc, and then explain the terms you are offering them. For instance a minimum investment of $50k for a 2% equity stake and a 5% yearly coupon.

Is there a "market structure" people have been seeing recently? I've seen that a preferred equity structure with a split between investors and search thereafter is fairly common but would love to validate what others are seeing.
