I purchased a pest control company on 1/23/24

After searching full time for 10 months, I purchased a pest control company on 1/23/24.

The biggest piece of advice I'd give to searchers (particularly self-funded like me) is don't go it alone. I would highly recommend seeking out a buy side advisor to work along side you. I worked with William Crenshaw of Grow Solutions and I highly recommend his services - early on, he helped me think through my investment thesis, evaluate many live opportunities, navigate seller expectations, and negotiate LOIs (and there were 4 different ones). He helped me strategize on funding, navigate due diligence and ultimately guided me through the closing process. William is a CPA, investor, operator (he closed on a personal transaction during our work together) and a great guy - it was common that he would offer technical advice and then advice as a friend. You won't get that from everyone... He's been in the trenches and has years of valuable experience/pattern recognition in this space.
