I started a Searchfund Fund of Funds and can't find....

Hi everyone,

I launched a Searchfund Fund of Funds in Germany (similar to Searchfund Accelerator in Boston) but with a focus on under-performing portfolio companies of traditional VCs.
Now, I am having trouble to find good searchers in Germany. I mostly hear things like
- I can make 180-220k in salary right now
- there is so many ifs in your offer: "if I find a company, if the management works, if we can sell it for"

What had you hooked on the idea of becoming a Searchfund?
Do you have an advice on who to target best as future Searchers?

Are the Germans to risk-averse.....almost makes me wanna change the model to traditional small-cap PE where I then hire a CEO with almost no equity upside.
