Just beginning to reach out to investors and curious to hear from others what should be included in the initial email I send to investors? I know it needs to be short so I'm keeping it under 150 words but wondering what others have done and if there's anything in particular that worked well for you. Right now, I'm thinking of writing a catchy subject line, introducing myself and throwing in an impactful fact about the SME market in NZ before a call to action i.e. following up via Zoom etc. I would love to hear what worked well for others or what you think.

Is this for search or acquisition capital? I find that investors in the ETA space are generally good at responding, particularly compared to VC. A little background is helpful and if you have any key achievements drop those in. And if you have any shared connections that helps build trust. I like to include a short deck or PPM with intro emails and calendar invites as investors see so many each week it's easy for them to forget individual searchers.

Yes I think reaching out to investor is simple a short catchy email with your profile and ppm is enough. The hard job is reaching out to sellers...
