Is anyone here based in the USA, running or interested in creating an impact/ profit for purpose investment fund? I have a lot of deal flow into green tech, green infra tech, training and edu, from various locations around the world. I'm actively investing myself, but would like to place and manage more capital, based out of the USA, so i'm looking for those with similar interests. Ideally West coast, as it make communications and travel easier for me from East Coast Australia.

Adam - We need to talk, I'm doing just this & am deep within the process. I'm actually even located in the western united states as well. My focus is in Education but it can be more diversified. The importance is that I was the first manager & author of the playbook for a technology accelerator that was a member of the TechStars Network (now GAN), the best accelerators in the world. My accelerator became the 12th most successful accelerator in America, per TechCrunch. But I noticed a pervasive shortfall, across all accelerators, they prepare 10's of 1,000's of startups to raise capital so they can generate revenue but come demo days, most investors say go generate revenue & we'll supply capital. At the end of the day, the accelerators aren't creating much value but if they were accelerating REVENUE, they'd change the early-stage investment game. Revenue is the key to every companies success, it also lowers the cost of capital, reducing dilution, while it multiplies the valuation, extends the runway, as ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt says, "Revenue solves all known problems". Problems = Risk. It accelerates market penetration, returns are generated so much faster, dramatically reduces mortality hazard & so much more. So, I've developed a systematic way to hyper-accelerate revenue & as a result, my portfolio will reach bigger success faster & returns much faster, there's no reason for any of them to fail, which happens to compound returns & impact, less risk, etc. Reach out to me ASAP as I'd hate to get too far on this or another opportunity, both are moving fast. My email is redacted & my cell is###-###-####

BTW - I validated the model on a deal 4-yrs ago. The founder came to me with a GTM-ready product, $0 revenue, no employees, no co-founders, nothing. Today, he's running the 4th fastest growing company in all of Utah across all industries, his is an EdTech company, he has 61-employees, has raised $14.5M in series A & A.1 capital from the likes of Riverside, Five Elms, etc.
