Impacts of AI on Searchfunder Thesis?

Let's assume that AI adoption and integration is in fact exponential. Let's also assume that these impacts start being felt over the next couple of years. This will obviously shift the dynamics for many things in this space (deal velocity, valuations, highly attractive skills, etc.). What are some of your "big bets" how this affects the categories of businesses that searchfunders will target over the next 5 years?

Great question, this is a thesis that I've been thinking about for a while: AI will change almost everything, but not our desire to see what the human body can do, and to follow the men and women brave enough to test its limits. That makes athletes and the businesses around them, one of the most durable bets of the 21st century. So basically anything around sports.

Look for businesses where ai enhances and does not replace the moat. Don’t worry about ai hurting you, but focus on how it can be deployed in business to win. Always keep your exit strategy in mind. Fully ai ready companies will sell for a higher multiple.
