Since getting back in the acquisitions saddle after the season, I have made it a goal to get in front of people rather than zoom/call whenever possible. It is crazy how much better and more productive they are compared to virtual discussions. Once we dial in our sourcing process and get some decent leads, I am hoping that our willingness and preference to meet in person will be a noticeable differentiator for sellers.

In-person drives a much better conversation and almost always a faster, smoother process. In-person conversations are the fastest way for a seller to understand that you 1) understand their business, and 2) have a clear vision of the future. It's not just that it's in-person but that putting effort into an in-person conversation wins a potential buyer way more time with the sellers.

In-person meetings are great, but then it has it's limitations. For someone who is connecting globally, virtual connecting but one-to-one is the choice.

I have created a whatsapp community of searchers to connect and network virtually, send me a DM if you would like to join that community.
