Industry agnostic vs searching within your industry - need advice

18 months into a geographically-constrained (300k population county) self-funded search. Looking for 150-500k SDE business. I’ve been industry agnostic to maximize deal flow. I’ve been trying to network to find something not on Bizbuysell, but so far I’ve only been reviewing CIM’s from bizbuysell listings
