Industry Databases to increase deal flow and potential targets in Europe

I'm looking to increase my deal flow in Europe, and wondered what databases or business directories folks are using. I've looked and BVD, which is broad but expensive. Any other ideas here?

if there are any specifics for Portugal and Poland, I'd love to hear them...
