I'm currently looking for some information on the UK, inland canal boat marina/canal mooring sector, and was wondering if anyone in the community might have some insight?

Specifically, I'm looking for some general averages across the industry, related to industry size, average profit margins, and current level of consolidation.

I have some findings, but it's quite a difficult sector to research so I would like to confirm these in more depth - If anyone has any insight on the sector, or can point me to any resources that might help, it would be great to connect with you.

Hi James - This is quite niche. Really don't think there are much ready-made resources here. Best to research profitability on company web - after you have googled some players. Then complement with insider interviews. Happy to have a chat through. I know the hospitality sector in the uk quite well. Fred

Hi Fred - Thanks for the reply. Yes, your absolutely correct, I'm finding very little ready-made resources that provide much useful information. I'm in the process of trying to arrange some insider interviews, to hopefully gain a little more insight.
