Hello! I'm the ETA lead for a community called the Operator's Guild (OG): https://operators-guild.com/

The OG is filled with senior finance and operations professionals. The ETA sub-group is roughly 50+ members. There are a couple folks who have successfully completed an acquisition. Most others are passively curious to actively searching for businesses.

As the ETA lead for this new group, I want to start our programming with a one hour AMA-style panel discussion around the search process. I would like to get diverse perspectives; an operator, a broker, a search fund investor, or whoever might have a valuable perspective for the group.

Since I'm coming from tech and am new to ETA, I don't yet have my own network in this space, so I'm reaching out to you all here on Searchfunder.

This panel event is not yet scheduled. Once we get panelists locked in, we can work on collective availability. We'd try for late February or early March.

If you're interested in being on the panel, please respond to this post or message me and we'll chat. If I get more than three people interested, please note that I won't be able to accept everyone

I would be very interested in participating. We are a Commercial Loan Brokerage Shop with direct relationships with over 500 different funding parters and we fund many business acquisitions each year. I have spoken on financing options at many events in the past. You can reach me directly at redacted if you are interested. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Kevin, happy to explore options on how our fund could be a part of the panel! We help provide support to self-funded searchers (cash + experience). My business partner Adam Markley might be a great fit, he has built a holding company with 8 acquisitions and has helped hundreds of searchers through the process and has done quite a few other ETA panels.
