Deal Research Intern

Position Overview We are seeking a Deal Research Intern to join our small Private Equity fund. The intern will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets within the marketing agency area. This position requires a blend of research, analytical, and written communication skills to effectively contribute to our deal sourcing and acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities -Target Company Identification: Create a comprehensive list of potential target companies within our specified area, utilizing research and industry databases.

• Acquisition Opportunity Analysis: Write detailed reports on potential acquisition opportunities, including business valuation, strategic fit, and potential synergies.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and business models of potential targets.
• Deal Sourcing: Actively research and identify the right opportunities for the fund to pursue acquisitions, including reaching out to potential targets for initial discussions.
• Due Diligence Support: Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including gathering and analyzing financial data, market research, and other relevant information.
  
  Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and the ability to learn new software as needed.

Duration and Availability

• The internship duration is typically 2-3 months, with flexibility depending on the candidate's availability.
