One of the first 30 people to do a search fund. Graduated from Harvard College in 1994 and Stanford Business School in###-###-#### With the help of Irv Grousbeck and many others, I raised my search fund during my second year of business school and launched right after graduation. I've acquired and ran more than 10 businesses and invested in more than 50.

My experience has been in mainly tech / internet related businesses including e-commerce, lead generation and media companies. I've sat in the CEO chair and along with my team have grown multiple businesses 10X from acquisition. I've sold multiple companies including two to public companies - Pike Street Industries was acquired by Marchex (NASDAQ: MCHX) and HeatMax was acquired by Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co Ltd. While mainly known for technology-related businesses, I have also invested in traditional search fund type businesses as well.

I've sat on boards of multiple companies and helped companies scale from nothing to hundreds of millions of revenue and to hundreds of employees. As a board member, I have helped companies raise over $200 million of capital.

In short, I have been involved with every part of the process - searching, negotiating, financing, closing, operating, growing, mentoring and exiting businesses and thus understand the highs and more importantly the lows that it entails.
