Intro: LMM Firm Focused on Distressed DTC & eCommerce

Hi everyone! I have been a part of the community for a while but haven't had a chance to intro myself. Big fan of what Mark/Karen/Luke have built. The value here is unbeatable.

Anyways, my partner and I operate Karta Ventures (redacted), which is largely self-funded via previous exits & invests in distressed direct-to-consumer brands and eCommerce retailers. We love companies with complex manufacturing or supply chain components that keep traditional competitors out. A good example is our portfolio company Shop Succulents, which is is a completely vertical seller of succulents online (nightmare to ship and manage inventory).

We also make minority equity investments, usually in the same DTC/eCommerce space but have made a few outside of that when we like the operator & thesis.

Would love to connect with others in the DTC space or those with LMM turnaround experience - whether it's in the same vertical or not.
