Hello, I’m Vishak, a searcher based in Southern California. Over the past 15 years I have worked at the intersection of compliance and operations in technology at companies such as Amazon, Meta, and now The Trade Desk. In these roles I have tackled complex challenges in data privacy, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and information security. I am also pursuing my MBA at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, which I will complete in December###-###-#### My goal is to transition into full time entrepreneurship, and in the meantime I am focused on building a leadership team of investors and operators while also developing relationships with lenders and brokers. I see a significant opportunity in the compliance space. Having worked inside some of the largest corporations subject to the most stringent regulatory requirements, I have seen firsthand the gaps in compliance service offerings. If Fortune 500 companies struggle to find the right partners, it is even more challenging for small and medium sized businesses and startups, especially those in fast moving areas such as artificial intelligence and crypto, to navigate without dedicated legal and compliance expertise. This is where I believe there is room to build something meaningful. I am interested in partnering with CPAs, legal, information security, and compliance professionals to create a fractional CFO, legal, security, and compliance service model. One path I am exploring is the acquisition of a CPA or legal firm and expanding it into a full fractional executive service focused on financial, legal, cybersecurity, and operational rigor to support small and medium sized businesses across a variety of industries. From there, I see opportunities to strengthen the offering through targeted acquisitions of SaaS companies that provide complementary solutions such as AI based content moderation services, data clean rooms, simplified regulatory workflow tools, and certification support for regulated industries. These solutions would help other businesses navigate the complexities of launching and scaling in their respective markets. What do I bring? I have been a Program Manager, Senior Product Manager, and now serve as a Senior Manager of Compliance Operations. I have extensive experience connecting legal, engineering, client services, and finance into one cohesive picture. I am adept at process building and at finding opportunities to streamline and operationalize workflows so they become repeatable and auditable. I believe strongly in under promising and over delivering, and I hope to instill this ethos in any business I operate. Beyond compliance and technology, I am also open to service and distribution businesses where operational rigor and process discipline can unlock growth and long term value. If any of this resonates, whether you are an investor, operator, or fellow searcher, I would love to connect, share notes, and explore ways we might collaborate. Vishak
