Investment analyst intern (PE backed firm, MD is ex-Mckinsey/former startups)

Thank you for your interest in our undergraduate internship program. This role has been designed to help you connect to private equity, family offices, investment banks, and buy-side brokerages. You will learn how to engage the respective firms, pitch Vienna Holdings Group, and ask engaging questions valuable to growing Vienna Holdings Group network and dealflow. Additionally, we will work with you on any specific learning goals / interests you have which may pertain to search funds. You will be a critical asset to our 3-person team which includes our: - Managing Director (ex-McKinsey, former tech startups founder) - Investment Director (ex-CFO @ 200 person internet service provider, prior startup experience) - Operations Manager (expert in front-end deal sourcing, process optimization) - Additional interns with prior search fund experiences Our firm is private equity-backed and positioned amongst a cohort of other searchers. We are targeting companies with the following criteria: - $5-50M revenue - $1.5-5M free cashflow - Largely industry agnostic search in parallel to several specific industry interests Day to day, this role includes the following responsibilities: - Sourcing family offices, private equity firms, investment banks, and buy-side brokers - Drafting emails for respective firms and emailing respective firms - Scheduling calls and speaking with respective firms - Reporting on call insights in our weekly meeting As part of continuing this application, you agree you understand the following: - Time req'd per week: 15 hours - Start date: ASAP - Internship length: negotiable (8 weeks preferred) - Pay: Unpaid ***If interested, please do not send a resume but instead apply using the following form: https://forms.gle/Ph11cfgJFLv6YRhaA
