We’re now hiring a sharp, organized, and commercially-minded Investment Operations Intern to help bring deals from signed agreement to investor-ready execution. About the Role You will be the right hand to our partners on live transactions—packaging deals, coordinating documents, answering investor questions, managing execution timelines, and getting deals across the finish line. This is a hands on multi-disciplinary role requiring writing, light legal review, investor communication, and operational project management. It is not a purely financial analyst role. You’ll thrive if you’re structured, adaptable, and confident managing multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Prepare professional-grade deal teasers, summaries, and investor collateral - Set up and organize investor data rooms, and manage document workflows - Review and edit legal docs (term sheets, NDAs, LOIs, shareholder agreements) - Project manage the closing process across legal, financial, and investor stakeholders - Lead investor Q&A, follow-up and respond to information requests - Coordinate with lawyers, sellers, investors, and internal team to meet deadlines - Support investor engagement with polished communication and tracking - Ensure deal materials are archived and handoffs to portfolio teams are smooth Ideal Candidate - 4+ years of pre-MBA work experience; ideally in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, general management, or fast-paced startup environments - Prior experience in operations, project management, senior stakeholder facing roles - Excellent writing and presentation skills—can create investor-ready documents - Familiar with data rooms (Dropbox, Google Drive, Firmex) and CRM workflows - Detail-oriented and able to manage many moving parts independently - Familiar with legal documents (does not need to be a lawyer, but should be confident spotting gaps) - Able to work efficiently in a remote-first, asynchronous team Our Recruitment Process To keep things focused, clear, and fair—we run a structured, asynchronous hiring process: 1. Intro Video Submission – Instead of a cover letter, you’ll record a short (max 1-2 minutes) video introducing yourself and explaining why this role interests you. – This helps us understand your communication skills and motivation. 2. Skills Test (4–6 hrs total) – We’ll give you 5 real-world tasks to complete. These test writing, deal packaging, legal review, investor follow-up, and coordination judgment. 3. Interview – If your test passes our bar, we’ll schedule a short interview with our team. 4. Offer – Successful candidates will receive a written offer and onboarding instructions. Internship Period (typically 10 weeks) – You’ll work on live deals on an internship for 10 weeks, with full support. After this period, we’ll decide whether to offer a long-term role.
