Hi all -

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a retired Fidelity Investments portfolio manager who now manages a family office for my family. I primarily invest long/short in the public markets but also have a handful of private investments. Originally I grew up outside of Cleveland, went to Wharton undergrad and MBA, and have lived most of the last 20 years in the Boston area. I am interested primarily in gap deals where there is already an acquisition target and less so in the original search itself. Thanks!

Chuck

Hi Chuck! I'm a fellow Wharton alumni and Bostonian as well. I was at The Boston Company for 16 years before leaving for Merida, a private equity firm focused on cannabis. You can invest directly in our fund (which has a stellar track record) or in select co-invest opportunities. If this is an area/industry of interest, please reach out via email to redacted Thank you!

Chuck, my partner and I have each spent 10+ years in private equity and have recently spun out on our own into an independent sponsor model focused on the healthcare industry, where we have a strong background. Would love to learn more about your family office and the types of investments you prefer.
