Hi, I am planning to perform a roll-up of HVAC companies across the US and would like to start some preliminary conversations with potential investors.

Any recommendations on investor lists, groups, or points of contact?

Hi Gary, We have helped others with HVAC roll ups in two main ways:

1) due diligence of a targets' insurance policies/ insurance program so you have clarity on:

a) how operationally safe they are (workers compensation)
b) if their coverage lines up with their operations as it should
c) benchmarking to ensure appropriate insurance limits and competitive pricing
d) any red flags that you'd want to be aware of &

2) creating an insurance portfolio program you can easily and systematically add new acquisitions onto that aggregates your insurance spend and provides preferential pricing as well as enhanced coverage.

Gary, I see this post is kind of dated, but was curious of you had any luck connecting with investors for your HVAC roll-up? I am interested in doing acquisitions in construction industry and will also be looking for investors. Thanks! Sven
