Would like to connect with experienced investors and operators in the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) space for key things to dig into during diligence and what strategies create the most enterprise value. Please comment or Message if you are in the space!

Thanks,

Ian

^redacted‌ there are a few other posts related to NEMT, but I would suggest taking a look at the business from a payer perspective. Many NEMT (mobility and non-EMS stretcher) are paid out-of-pocket or through local / regional programs. The latter means that you have two customers per transport (really 3 if the transport involves a facility and 4 if there is a family member / medical aide riding along). Other due diligence relates to insurance. If keeping the current entity really dig into their loss runs and if starting a new entity know that rates may be significantly different for a no experience rating. Good luck!

Hey Ian, I’m a 20+ year veteran of the NEMt industry in New York. I’d be happy to get on a call and help.
