Investors Backing $500K–$1M EBITDA Acquisitions Without a PG?
Curious if anyone has experience with investors backing smaller acquisitions outside the traditional search fund or fully self-funded model.
I'm exploring acquisitions in the $500K–$1M EBITDA range and would ideally partner with investors to fund most of the equity, potentially alongside seller financing and acquisition debt, without personally guaranteeing the debt.
I'd be sourcing the deals myself and am flexible on economics, ideally retaining meaningful equity (around 25–30%).
Has anyone structured something similar or know investors, family offices, or search fund backers who invest at this size?
Would really appreciate any insights or introductions!
